Originally established in 1922, the store has served as a cornerstone of local life, adapting through generations while keeping its roots firmly grounded in New England charm. Fascinatingly, the second floor once housed caskets for the neighboring funeral parlor—a unique glimpse into our area’s heritage.
Today, under the care of Chester resident Judith Dalesandro, the Pease Store continues to thrive as a hub for the Hilltown community. We proudly offer a wide selection of Hilltown Hometown Apparel, including hard-to-find caps and sweatshirts personalized; some even featuring ZIP codes and elevation details.
Our collection also includes pants, shirts, and jackets in both adult and children’s sizes, all at reasonable prices.
In addition to clothing, the Pease Store supports local businesses with tables featuring locally made food products, fresh eggs, and handcrafted goods of all kinds.
And you can often find us participating in local community fairs and events, where we set up a tent to bring our unique offerings directly to you.
